A great irrigation system is not just a matter of running some pipe and installing some sprinklers. Sadly, because initial cost is so important to so many, this is all a person may get. We have been asked to come out and repair many irrigation /  sprinkler systems installed by untrained  individuals or companies. Being members of both the California Landscape Contractor's Association (CLCA) and the Irrigation Association (IA) shows not only a commitment to designing great irrigation and sprinkler systems, but a commitment to installing and maintaining them as well.

Why do we keep making a differentiation between irrigation and sprinklers? Irrigation is a system most often culminating in sprinklers. However, the irrigation system is not just a bunch of sprinkler heads. It begins with a careful study of what the landscape needs and what the existing water supply can provide. We make every effort to then design an irrigation system with sprinklers, drip, or bubblers that will function using the existing water supply.

Irrigation & sprinklers, and outside plumbing - including main service water and gas installations - has been our specialty for two generations now. Our customers can and do attest to the care we display on every facet of our irrigation /  sprinklers and plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance. Our service area ranges from just south of San Francisco, Ca down to San Jose, Ca. If your home and landscaping are valuable assets, entrust them to someone who really cares about the quality of work being done - Peninsula Irrigation - The Irrigation / Sprinkler Specialists.

There are times, such as with with expansive systems, where much more is necessary. They may require:

  1. System controllers
    1. Localized
    2. Available over Internet
    3. With or without rain and/or existing ground moisture sensors
  2. Booster Pumps
  3. Hydro-pneumatic tanks
  4. Isolation valves
  5. Back-flow devices
  6. Varying pipe sizes to maintain pressure and flow rates
    1. Please do not allow others to arbitrarily add to calculated zones
  7. Constant Flow Valves
  8. VFD's
  9. Sprinklers
    1. Top quality - not just off the shelf at a local hardware supply
    2. Varying patterns
    3. Calculated flow rates

There are many great looking landscapes due to the efforts of great gardeners. We are not gardeners. On the same hand, gardeners are not often irrigation or sprinkler experts. We will never ask to mow your lawns, prune your roses, or trim your trees, only that you allow us to help keep them properly irrigated.
